Sledging in Aeschiried

Sledging is fun for everyone! Whether alone, with your partner or as a family. We recommend the sledging trail in Aeschi, which is the closest. The toboggan run leads from Spitz down to Scheidmattenstrasse. The ascent is on foot from the Aeschiried car park, follow the road in the direction of Aeschiallmend, past the ski hut. Sledging on the Niederhorn

The 3km long toboggan run is often described as one of the most beautiful in the Bernese Oberland. No wonder, as it offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Bold, winding sections alternate with more leisurely stretches. For more info on prices etc. click here.

 
 
 

Sledging in Kandersteg

The Oeschinensee toboggan run stretches 3.5km from the lake to Kandersteg and also offers some steep sections for the brave. An easier toboggan run in the Oeschiwald (1km long) lies directly above the village of Kandersteg and is artificially lit daily until 22:00. Sledging in Zweisimmen

The toboggan run in Sparenmoos is very suitable for families. This can be reached in 47 minutes from Spiez. The toboggan run leads through unspoilt countryside to "Heimkuhweid". From there you can easily take the bus directly to Sparenmoos. In good conditions it is even possible to ski down to Zweisimmen (daytime operation only). You can find more information here.
